Cat Ba Island Discovery Tour 2 Days – Cat Ba is a large island of Hai Phong Province, lies on the south of Halong Bay / Halong City and is usually accessed by ferry/speed boat from Tuan Chau island (Ha Long) or Binh Harbor (Hai Phong City).

Cat Ba Island is the largest island in the Bay and approximately half of its area is covered by a National Park. Cat Ba is a great place to venture off the beaten tracks. Cat Ba island covers Lan Ha bay, a part of Halong bay. This picturesque island has so much to offer, particularly for nature lovers or adventurous types including kayaking, swimming or climbing. Night market in the center town is also utterly colorful.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha Bay | Cat Ba Island Discovery Tour 2 Days

8.30 Get picked up at your hotel in Hanoi then heading to Hai Phong City via newly built high way (Hanoi – Hai Phong Express Way) stop over for a rest on the way.

11.00 You will reach Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai Island then boarding for 30 minutes to Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal – Cat Ba Island where you will continue with 30 minutes drive to Cat Ba town.

Check in hotel on your arrival then have lunch at a local restaurant

13.00 Our tour guide meet you at our office (194 Mot Thang Tu street, Cat Ba town) or from your hotel in Cat Ba island and take bus to Beo pier. Enjoy 10 minutes drive pass the coastline and see mountainous view.

Get on boat and cruising around Lan Ha Bay, visit floating fishing villages where you can see the daily life of fisherman all year around. Keep cruising on the bay, there are many desert beaches you can swim or kayaking around the islets to experience the beauty of Lan Ha Bay.

Our boat take you to Monkey Island where you also can swim at Monkey island beach, walk up to see some monkey or climb up to the view point to take photo.

17.00 Get on boat, sails back to Beo Harbor where the driver is waiting for drive back to your hotel

Day 2: Cat Ba Island – Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi | Cat Ba Island Discovery Tour 2 Days 

Have breakfast at hotel then check out

08.00 We take 30 minutes drive to Cat Ba National Park, there you will have chance to see many flora and fauna kinds by joining in about 2 hour trekking to the peak of Cat Ba mountain – Ngu Lam Peak. If you are a natural lover, don’t forget your camera for great photos including wild animals as squirrels, snakes, frogs, thousands of butterflies, etc.

– Continue to visit Army Hospital Cave – an amazing man –made building in American war 1962, a special place to save the significant Vietnamese history during the resistance war. During the travel, you will be immersed in the wild fresh natural scenery of Cat Ba National Park.

Have lunch at a local restaurant then take the same way as you came to Hanoi
